When one of our community partners reaches out for help with Veteran housing, groceries or utilities we want to be able to respond with help every single time. Your support makes a huge difference for the Veterans of East Texas, we commit that 100% of donations directed to Veterans stays in East Texas and 100% of that donation is spent on Veterans in need.
Veteran Community
More coming soon, over 22 acres has been purchased that will be a dedicated Veteran community with housing, holistic support, employment opportunities, and healthcare onsite.
Partnership
We support all local Veterans causes as much as possible but we have made a strategic alliance with Beacon Veterans Resource Management. BVRM is a locally founded and locally focused organization that aligns with PlowShare Inc. in our main tenants: direct community support (one soul at a time), needs based education and building resiliency. They are solely dedicated to helping Veterans that have either fallen outside of the system and need help getting access to resources. Or offering support and advocacy for those that have had setbacks and are in danger of becoming homeless, hungry or losing access to utilities or other needs. There are a myriad of reasons these issues occur and Beacon coordinates with intake of each Veteran and directs funds where they need to go to do the most good.
